inDrive Joins World Economic Forum Unicorn Community, Strengthening Push for Inclusive Digital Mobility

inDrive joins the World Economic Forum Unicorn Community, highlighting its push for inclusive digital economies, expanded mobility access, and collaboration on innovation and economic inclusion across emerging markets, including the Philippines.

Manila, Philippines — Global mobility and delivery platform inDrive has been admitted to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Unicorn Community, an invitation-only network of high-growth companies recognized for shaping innovation and advancing solutions to global economic and social challenges.

The inclusion places inDrive alongside a select group of scale-up firms engaging with policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society through the World Economic Forum World Economic Forum, a global institution focused on public–private collaboration to address systemic issues across economies and industries.

Focus on inclusive mobility and emerging markets

According to inDrive, its participation in the Unicorn Community will support its advocacy for a more people-centered digital economy—one that prioritizes transparency, expanded access to services, and localized solutions tailored to emerging markets.

The company said it will contribute insights on mobility innovation and economic inclusion, with emphasis on underserved communities and development topics such as women’s entrepreneurship and education, particularly in fast-growing markets including the Philippines.

Expansion and growth in the Philippines

Since entering the Philippine market in 2024, inDrive has rapidly expanded its presence, positioning the country as one of its key growth hubs in Southeast Asia. In 2025, global market intelligence firm Sensor Tower identified inDrive as among the most downloaded travel apps in the Philippines and the second most downloaded ride-hailing platform globally.

The Philippines’ mobility sector has become a critical testing ground for app-based transport services, driven by rising urban demand, digital adoption, and evolving commuter needs.

Partnerships with Philippine government agencies

To strengthen its local footprint, inDrive has pursued collaborations with key Philippine institutions focused on public safety, health, and skills development.

These include initiatives with the Department of Health (DOH) to promote smoke-free and vape-free ride environments, aimed at improving commuter wellbeing, as well as engagements with the Philippine National Police (PNP) to support safety-oriented mobility programs.

The company has also partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) TESDA to support skills development initiatives for transport and service-sector workers.

Leadership perspectives

“Joining the World Economic Forum’s Unicorn Community is a significant milestone as we continue to scale globally and deepen our impact,” said Arsen Tomsky, Founder and CEO of inDrive. “Our mission has always been to challenge injustice by giving people more control over their choices. Through this platform, we look forward to contributing to global discussions on building more inclusive and transparent digital economies, particularly in emerging markets.”

Sofia Guinto, Country Manager of inDrive Philippines, emphasized the relevance of the Philippine market in global mobility discussions.

“The Philippines is one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic mobility markets, shaped by the everyday realities of commuters and drivers,” Guinto said. “Being part of the World Economic Forum’s Unicorn Community allows us to bring these perspectives into global conversations on fair and accessible mobility, while strengthening our commitment to Filipino users and partner drivers.”

Global collaboration on mobility and economic inclusion

Through its participation in the Unicorn Community, inDrive is expected to collaborate with global leaders to explore new approaches to urban transport systems, platform governance, and economic inclusion—drawing insights from both frontier and emerging markets.
