For many Filipinos, a car or motorcycle is more than a means of transportation—it helps them get to work, run a business, and take care of their families. Keeping a vehicle on the road, however, also means staying on top of important requirements, including compulsory Third-Party Liability (CTPL) insurance. To streamline this process, LBC storefronts across the country now serve as walk-in access points where vehicle owners can apply for ProtekSure CTPL Insurance for private cars and motorcycles. This offering is in partnership with Stere Philippines, a licensed intermediary, and underwritten by Paramount Life & General Insurance Corporation.
LBC reinforces its commitment to bringing essential services closer to communities through its extensive footprint. Vehicle owners can visit any participating branch to secure the necessary coverage for Land Transportation Office (LTO) registration. “LBC continues to look for ways to deliver efficient and accessible solutions to Filipinos. By hosting the application process for Stere’s ProtekSure CTPL Insurance, we are providing vehicle owners with the same reliable experience they have come to expect from us”, said Oliver L. Valentin, Chief Operating Officer, Philippines Branch Operations.

ProtekSure CTPL Insurance is available for ₱606 for private cars and ₱296 for motorcycles, with an additional ₱60 vehicle validation fee in selected regions, as required by the Land Transportation Office (LTO). Built on Stere Asia Pacific’s digital infrastructure, the rollout combines specialized insurance expertise with LBC’s broad presence. Vehicle owners can also complete their transaction online. They can apply through the dedicated portal at http://lbc-ctpl.stere.io/ to secure coverage at their own schedule.
With ProtekSure CTPL, LBC is giving private vehicle and motorcycle owners another convenient way to meet an essential vehicle registration requirement, bringing insurance closer to where Filipinos live, work, and conduct their day-to-day transactions.
