Immigrant Plus Canada, an immigration agency based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada will hold a series of seminars that will revolve around the processes and requirements in line with traveling and migrating to the good place to live and work in. Dubbed as Pathways to Canada, the summit will initially take place in Quezon City on March 25, Saturday at Max’s Restaurant, ground floor, Ali Mall, Araneta Center Cubao, 12 noon.
Also set in Mines View Park Hotel, Baguio on Saturday, March 18 at 2:00 pm and Sunday, March 19 at Dencio’s Restaurant in San Fernando, La Union also at 2 pm, the seminar is designed to provide guidance and resources for individuals seeking permanent residence in Canada.
Information on the Canadian immigration system and comprehensive details in the legal requirements and the benefits in line with settling to Canada will be discussed by Immigrant Plus founder Mila Villaruz Echevarria, a licenced Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and member of College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.
The resource speaker will disclose entry programs that include Study Permit which allows foreign nationals to pursue a diploma or degree program in Canada, Work Program that will also tackle how to acquire a work permit and determine if a job offer is factual or scam.
Echevarria will also discuss the latest in Healthcare Professionals including Canada’s need for more doctors and health care workers. “There’s a severe labour shortage in Canada especially in the medical field. Canada needs more doctors that some provinces there have implemented the Foreign Doctor Credential Recognition Program to support licensure for foreign trained doctors.” Echevarria said. She disclosed that Canada foresees a 10,000 deficit in trade jobs in the next five years. In fact, the National Post, major newspaper in Canada states that the country will face a huge labour crunch when 700,000 people retire this decade.
Thus, trade workers are definitely in demand in the Canadian jobs market with types of job that pay anywhere from $80,000 to $100,000 a year on average. Among these jobs include Boilermaker, Welder Pipefitter, Millwright Tool and Die Worker, Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Machinist, Baker and Hairdressers, among others.
