After 2 months of reviewing the Huawei P40, i was amazed by the power of this smartphone can do. As Huawei is well-known for functionality and design, the camera can out perform all other brands out there in the market.

Let’s talk about first the most remarkable and noticeable feature of the Huawei P40, the camera. To show you how the camera performs, i will be sharing some unique photos with the EXIF or Exchangeable Image File Data which normally photographers talk about that attributes to the color, brightness, sharpness and quality of an image taken by a camera.

Here are 6 sample shots of the P40

Here are 6 sample shots of the Huawei P40 starting from upper left – to right, 30x zoom which captures the details of the tall building somewhere in Ortigas area from my standpoint here near Cash and Carry. Take a look at the silhouette of the mountain at the back. Upper center shot is a wide angle night mode shot of my vicinity. See how the buildings and the light from the posts. Upper left shows a normal shot wide angle during daylight. Lower left shows you a sunrise, center bottom is the moon and the lower right are the vibrant colors of various vegetables – orange tomatoes, green sili and red sili.

Huawei’s camera has built-in AI or Artificial Intelligence, as it easily detects celestial bodies like moon and stars. It also detects other things the moment you focus your camera to the object. It also gives you the vibrant colors such as orange, red and green.
