Nissan Philippines launches new generation subcompact SUV, the All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER

Nissan Philippines ushers in a new generation of its electrified subcompact SUV with the launch of the All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER, inviting Filipino motorists to Live Daring on every drive. Built on Nissan’s engineering heritage, the latest model brings together the brand’s global expertise with enhanced technology, design, and features designed for modern driving.

First introduced in the Philippines in 2022, the Nissan Kicks brought Nissan’s e-POWER unique technology to the subcompact crossover segment, offering a distinct driving experience through its electric motor-driven performance. Four years after its Philippine market introduction, the All-New Nissan Kicks builds on this foundation with Nissan’s proven e-POWER technology, with new features, and design updates that enhance its overall driving experience.

The All-New Nissan Kicks brings these enhancements together to deliver a more confident, comfortable, and connected drive, while retaining the responsive performance that has become a defining part of the Kicks experience.

A Smarter Way to Go Electric

At the heart of the All-New Nissan Kicks is Nissan e-POWER, delivering a 100% electric motor-driven experience with 136 PS and 280 Nm of torque. Its self-charging system uses a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine to generate electricity for the battery, while the electric motor drives the wheels. This setup delivers the responsive feel of electric motor-driven performance, without requiring drivers to change their refueling habits.

Interior Built for Everyday Life

Inside, the All-New Nissan Kicks is designed to make everyday journeys more pleasant and convenient for both drivers and passengers. Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats are designed to support a comfortable seating position, while anti-heat leather upholstery helps reduce heat buildup in warm conditions. For rear passengers, an optimized seatback angle and a rear armrest contribute to a more relaxed ride, while the 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat allows drivers to find a more personalized driving position.

The cabin also features a 12.3-inch Display Audio system with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with NissanConnect Services with a three-year subscription, giving drivers more access to connectivity features while on the road.

Bold New Exterior

Beyond the cabin, the All-New Nissan Kicks features a refreshed exterior design that gives the subcompact SUV a more modern and expressive look. The updated front end combines Nissan’s signature V-Motion grille with a new lighting signature, while the triple-arrow Daytime Running Lights add a sharper visual identity.

At the rear, Nissan’s signature hexagon-shaped rear lamps reinforce the Kicks’ styling with a clean look that stands out day and night. Complementing the vehicle’s bold design are improved headlights that deliver wider and longer illumination, providing a clearer view of the road and enhancing visibility in low-light conditions.

Enhanced safety with Nissan ProPILOT

Advanced driver-assistance technology is also a key part of the All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER, led by Nissan ProPILOT.Designed to help reduce driving stress, particularly on highways and longer journeys, the system assists with steering, acceleration, and braking through features such as Intelligent Lane Keep Assist (LKA), which helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane, and Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), which helps maintain a preset speed and safe distance from the vehicle ahead. In changing traffic conditions, ProPILOT can also bring the vehicle to a stop and resume driving with its Traffic Jam Assist, helping make daily commutes and long drives more convenient.

The All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER also comes with 12 additional safety and driver-assistance technologies, including:

  • Leading Car Departure Notification (LCDN)
  • Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW)
  • Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection (IFEB)
  • Blind Spot Warning with Blind Spot Intervention (BSW + BSI)

The launch further expands Nissan Philippines’ growing electrified vehicle lineup, joining the Nissan X-Trail e-POWER in bringing Nissan’s unique technology to more Filipino drivers. With the addition of the All-New Nissan Kicks, Nissan continues to give Filipino customers more opportunities to experience its approach to electrified mobility.
