My journey in photography started when i was a kid when my father taught me to shoot with a analog compact still camera using a 135mm film. For a start, you only have 3 options with the number of shots, a 12, 24 and 36 shot film. on top of that, you have to choose what ASA from 100, 200, 400 to 1000. The more shots, the more expensive and the higher ASA comes as well.
ASA or DIN is actually the light sensitivity of the film. Meaning, the higher the number, the more sensitive it is to light so without any additional lighting equipment like flash, strobes or added source of natural light, the camera would be able to take better quality, brighter photos. The only downside to it is that the contact prints would be grainier or what others might say, NOISE.
We are only talking about the film which after consuming the maximum shots, you have to roll it and bring it to a photo developing shop. At this time, you still don’t know how the pictures will come out. We still haven’t tackled about the ISO, Speed and Aperture settings of the camera, type of lens, Focal Length and so on.
The Professional cameras nowadays are based on two major factors: the body and the lenses. At my vantage point, i can actually see the planes parked in Terminal 3.
