Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice at the SM Supermalls

2 years after its official announcement of the screening of Batman v Superman, it’s finally here! The long wait is over for one of the most awaited duel between 2 super heroes, The Dark Knight, Batman versus Superman, The Man of Steel! This action packed adventure film is highly anticipated and in partnership with SM Supermalls with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment and licensing rep Pacific Licensing Studios (PLS) in the Philippines, have worked in conjunction to present “Choose your Side”.

People from the media, guests and VIP were asked to Choose your side by wearing black for Batman and Blue for Superman. Apparently, there were more Batman followers during the event last saturday at the SM City Block, SM North Edsa, Quezon City, during the media event and the unveiling of the Batmobile.

Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice is presented by Warner Bros. Pictures and is directed by Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) and stars Oscar winner Ben Afleck (Argo) as Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters’ first big screen pairing.

Fearing the actions of a God-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

So when is Batman v Superman going to be shown in the Philippines?

In less than 2 weeks from now, on March 26 is when the film opens in the Philippines. The SM Supermalls event was launched on February 20, 2016. It featured an impressive construction of the Dark Knight’s Gotham City sitting side-by-side to the Man of Steel’s Metropolis, with an incredibly detailed 1:1 scale replica of the Batmobile, as well as life-sized of the Woman who makes her first ever big-screen appearance in film. DC Comics fans will be able to choose who will win and support their favorite Super Heroes, through photo booths, gaming stations, collector’s exhibit and a pop-up store with exclusive movie merchandise. Immerse yourself in the full Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice inspired experience walking through the amazing display set up at the event.

Leading up to the release of the film, WBCP has also collaborated fashion retailer Pen Shoppe to launch a collection of Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice branded limited edition apparel and accessories, and a collection of trendy watches from Axis by Newtrend. Both collections had been shown during the fashion show held last Saturday, March 12, 2016.

Aside from the fashion show, fans of LEGO enjoyed playing at the immersive play area setup by LEGO group, alongside with the display of their Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice product line, and an exclusively created LEGO mosaic featuring the two iconic Super Heroes. Other parnters of WBCP including B’lue flavored water, Peppero snack, Silverworks and Energizer batteries were also featured at the event.
