Avis offers luxury ride with personal chauffeur up to 13 hours

Booking one ride after another can be a hassle especially with a series of meetings and activities lined up for the day.

As it celebrates its 44th anniversary, Avis Philippines, a leading transport service provider, is offering executive class services that provide clients a chauffeur-driven ride within Metro Manila for up to 13 hours per day in a single booking, as well as airport transport services.

“The car hire service is ideal for people who have a series of scheduled activities within the day at different locations. They can avoid wasting their precious time hailing a taxicab after each appointment,” Avis Philippines President and CEO Rafael Lucila said.

Our clientele is not limited to executives and VIPs. Those who want to ride in style and experience the comfort of an executive car at a reasonable price also avail themselves of our services. We offer affordable packages that include advanced booking and prepayment for a worry-free ride,” Lucila added.

The advance booking and pre-payment system “guarantees passengers a very convenient and quick getaway from origin to destination,” he explained.

Within Metro Manila, the car hire service costs P3,760, but those who book and pay ahead can enjoy a discounted rate of 1,760 for the first two hours and P950 for each excess hour. Clients can enjoy rides up to 13 hours inclusive of fuel, except toll and parking fees.

The airport transfer service provides clients with stress-free rides from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals to Makati, BGC, Ortigas, or the Manila Bay area, and vice versa. The service costs P2,880, but early booking gives clients a discounted rate of P1,760.

“For arriving guests, Avis has counters at NAIA terminals so they can immediately head out to their destination. For departing passengers, the service can pick them up at home or their chosen point of origin. They won’t have to use their personal cars and drive to the airport,” Lucila said. Luxury limousine service is also available upon request.

With first-class amenities and professionally trained chauffeurs, Avis promises clients executive class services that meet international benchmarks.

“All Avis chauffeurs are screened upon employment to meet character, security, and health requirements. They are trained on basic customer service and defensive driving skills,” Lucila said.

Hired chauffeurs undergo basic pre-employment medical tests. They are also required to go through annual physical examination and random drug tests.

“Apart from training, our executive class chauffeurs gain experience in dealing with VIPs through our partnerships with luxury hotels,” he added.

Each ride comes with bottled water, business newspaper, golf umbrella, and wipes. Wi-Fi internet connection will be available soon.

“These are the initial needs of a passenger, especially those arriving from a long trip. Our amenities are specifically chosen to provide respite to guests as they return to their homes or travel to other destinations,” Lucila further added.
