“Our Paseo Center gym is a significant milestone for the Philippines as this will lead us to becoming the #1 gym provider in the Philippines within the next 12 months based on our projection,” says Dave Mortensen. “Asia is an important growth area for us. Our gyms are designed to help get people to a healthier lifestyle. We provide a welcoming environment where members are able to achieve their fitness goals.”

Recently honored as the #1 “Top Global Franchise” by Entrepreneur magazine, Anytime Fitness opened it 3,000th unit in fewer years (13) than it took other well-known franchises, like McDonald’s (20), Subway (25) and Dunkin’ Donuts (37), to do the same.

For workers in Makati, those with broken schedules like people working in callcenters, IT industry, Consulting, Supervisors and Managers who are swamped with work and can’t find the right gym that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this is the right gym for you!

The first Anytime Fitness club in the Philippines opened its first branch in Pasig in September 2014. “There are now 5 Anytime Fitness gyms open in The Philippines”, said Maurice Levine, Master Franchisee. “We expect to open another 95 gyms within the next 4 years. Our franchisees love that they can determine their own work schedules, never having to miss important family events. And our members like the fact that our gyms feature all of the equipment, programs, classes and support they need to achieve their fitness goals and enjoy healthier, happier lives.”
“Nearly 1/3rd of all Anytime Fitness gyms are located outside the United States,” said Dave Mortensen. “It’s proof that our business model is attractive to potential franchisees and consumers worldwide. In fact, 2015 will likely be the first year that we open more gyms internationally than in the U.S.”

In just the past few weeks, Anytime Fitness, LLC signed agreements with master franchisees to begin opening gyms in Sweden and Italy. The company now has franchise agreements in 29 different countries.

The first Anytime Fitness gym opened in Minnesota, USA in May of 2002. The company’s founders attribute the rapid growth of the franchise to a focus on convenience, affordability and a friendly, non-intimidating club atmosphere. But, in the years to come, Anytime Fitness gym owners worldwide will be investing additional resources to meet the needs of their members outside of the gym.

“We’ll be offering new programs and classes, certainly” said Dave Mortensen. “But we also want our members to be able to rely on our trainers and staff for nutritional and fitness information during the 165 hours each week that they’re not in the gym – not merely the two or three hours each week that they’re exercising in our facilities.”
