The Apprentice TV show goes global this week with the ONE Championship Edition seeing candidates from various countries battle it out for the coveted spot. The winner will become ONE Championship Chief of Staff, and there is also a US $250,000 job offer to work as ONE Championship Chairman and become the protégé in business for CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
In this week’s episode, top ONE atomweight contender Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat and reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan join the cast, and enter the cage with the candidates, who each find out what it’s like to become a martial artist.
The daughter of wrestling Olympic coach Mahavir Singh Phogat, Commonwealth Wrestling Gold Medalist Ritu Phogat will appear in Episode 7 of the Apprentice ONE Championship Edition. At present she trains at the renowned Evolve MMA in Singapore, where she is practicing mixed martial arts.
No less exceptional is Xiong Jing Nan, China’s first MMA World Champion in 2018. Much like Ritu Phogat, the Chinese fighter was encouraged by her father to focus on martial arts. Joining Chatri and his Advisor Niharika Singh as Guest Judge in this leg of the competition is Melissa Kwee, CEO of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre of Singapore.
The first season of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” consists of 13 episodes and will be seen in the Philippines on Thursdays, 8:50 pm on AXN cable network and on Mondays at 9 p.m. on One Sport.
The Apprentice is one of the biggest non-scripted reality television programs in history, judging the business skills of candidates who are competing for a job offer under a high-profile CEO. It has aired in more than 120 countries.
