Globe Stores: Under Renovations. See what’s inside

If you were in North EDSA last weekend, or you were on Twitter or Facebook, you might have spotted the hashtag #Gen3NextAct. Mall-goers and usual Globe customers were surprised to see one of the biggest and busiest stores of Globe CLOSED!

What’s even more surprising was what happened after…

Instead of the usual board-up, the Globe team held an event titled “GEN3 NEXT ACT (Art + Community + Technology)” and worked together with award-winning Filipino artists led by Ross Capili to do live art installations for the public’s appreciation!

So what makes the upcoming Globe stores exciting? And where are they taking the next ACT to? Read on:

I’m sure you are very familiar with the iconic Apple stores (yes, the one that changed the retail landscape) and you love those, you’re in for a treat. The man behind the upcoming Globe store design is none other than renowned architect TIM KOBE, Founder and CEO of Eight Inc.!

Tim Kobe is responsible for the designs of the Apple Stores, the Nike Concept Stores, Coke, Knoll, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Citibank.

“Globe is transforming the customer experience in the Philippines and it will send shock waves far beyond.” -Tim Kobe, Founder and CEO, Eight Inc. “Design and great user experience is a core strength at Globe. It means the things that matter to you are things that matter to Globe.”, he added.

 

They’re taking their next ACT to Cagayan De Oro. Watch out Limketkai Mall-goers, Globe is going to be bringing in top Filipino artists to perform at the Globe store’s facade.

Because there is no word yet as to when this will open, but one thing’s for sure — we are all very excited to see how Globe will CHANGE retail here in the country!
