As of 3pm Philippine Standard Time, PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) fully restore network services in Tarlac following the onslaught of super typhoon #KardingPH.
Part of PLDT and Smart Communications disaster recovery plan, their Libreng Tawag (free calls), Libreng Charging (free charging), and Libreng WiFi (free WiFi) stations remain operational in Nueva Ecija a week after #KardingPH to continue to accommodate the communication needs of affected residents.
Communities who were impacted by the super typhoon in Tarlac City and Moncada, Tarlac also received relief assistance in the form of food packs, drinking water and other essentials from PLDT and Smart Communications. The Group is currently packing more aid to be distributed in the coming days.
