The Philippine GOLFCON, Let’s Golf i the Philippines in partnership with the Department of Tourism, particularly the Golf Tourism and the Special Projects with its Director Mr Lyle Uy, kicked off this year’s event at the Club Intramuros Golf Course from March 12 to 13, were select members of the media, and some VIPs.
Marriott Grand Ballroom was the venue for the culmination of the event last March 14 to 15 where the whole ballroom was filled with Golf club memberships, hotels and travel destinations, golf gears and equipment, apparel, with on the spot tutorials by Professional Golf instructors.
The objective of this event and partnership is not just to promote Golf as a sport, but to showcase the Philippines as a major Hotspot as a Tourism destination for avid golfers who wants to travel to enjoy playing golf, but also to experience the numerous Golf spots with wonderful terrains in the Country.
