It’s always exciting to travel and find your place to stay in the USA. But knowing where to find the best apartment to settle in New York City will really be a hard time for you especially if you are a first timer and don’t know anyone in that area.

New York City, also known as the Big Apple lies one of the biggest and busiest Cities in the World. The best thing to find out first is who will be the new settlers in New York? Will it be purely people in the working class? Will there be cases you need to go to class? Or maybe even both. The rent in New York may go pretty steep especially going near the business district.

There are other burroughs to look into. There is Brooklyn Queens, Bronx and Staten Island. Of course, the farther you go away from the CBD, the lower your rent goes. Nice thing about it though is that the public transport is well established that you can go on and off from a boat ride, to a train ride to a bus ride.

That is also one thing you have to really put your mind and body to be able to get up early and be able to catch your rides. Otherwise, when you miss one, it will be harder and maybe more expensive to take the yellow cab. So unless you land on the job that pays the big bucks, living in Manhattan is only for those white collar jobs.

Getting a 2 bedroom apartment in Manhattan may cost you around $3000 or higher in monthly rent. While the same space outside would cut down your rent a lot!

I have some family relatives who live outside of the City, in the bay area of Long Island. This place is the best if you like breath of fresh air, a lot of open space to run around and probably do some water sports like fishing or boating, this is the right place for you. Houses are spaced accordingly. This place is best if you have a car to ride or hitch with since it is really sometime away from the city if you work there. Or if your work schedule is not the ordinary 9am to 5pm.

The Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx on the other hand, are really in tight cityscapes. The standard way of living is really where mutliple floors with numerous units, Just like Spiderman the movie, Peter Park works as a photographer in a Daily newspaper, lives in a small apartment with her Aunt. That’s how life is living in the CIty.

So i hope you do well in your apartment hunt in the Big Apple and be able to cope up with the hustle and bustle of the New York Life.
