Globe upgrades load and promo loan services for Prepaid and TM users to keep Filipinos connected anytime

New prepaid enhancements allow users to borrow load or promos instantly and repay flexibly, ensuring uninterrupted mobile connectivity even at zero balance.

A Globe Prepaid and TM user browses their mobile phone, highlighting how enhanced load and promo loan services help Filipinos stay connected even without immediate load balance.

In a country where mobile connectivity is essential for work, school, and daily life, Globe Telecom has strengthened its load and promo loan services to help Prepaid and TM subscribers stay connected even when they run out of balance.

The enhanced offering allows users to borrow mobile load or promos instantly and repay later, ensuring uninterrupted access to calls, texts, and mobile data during both emergencies and everyday needs.

Instant access to load and data when it matters most

Through Promo and Load Loan for Globe Prepaid and Utang Load/Promo for TM users, customers can continue using mobile services even with zero balance. This is especially useful in urgent situations—such as contacting family, handling work needs, or getting online quickly when regular load runs out.

The service also includes small “emergency load” options that provide immediate access to data, calls, or texts for quick communication.

For heavier usage, eligible subscribers may also access higher-value loaned promos, including popular offers like Go59 and EZ50, which provide more data volume and longer validity periods for everyday connectivity.

Flexible repayment through load and promo usage

Globe has also improved its repayment system to better match how users top up today. Instead of relying only on traditional load deductions, repayment can now be partially collected through promo purchases.

When users buy a data promo, up to 50% of the open-access data may be allocated automatically to settle outstanding loan balances. If the allocation does not fully cover the loan, partial repayment is applied, with any remaining balance carried over to the next transaction.

This approach allows users to continue enjoying connectivity while gradually settling their loan in a more flexible way.

Available across multiple channels

Customers can access load and promo loans through several convenient platforms, including the GlobeOne app, Facebook, *143#, and SMS via TM services. This ensures users can request assistance anytime, anywhere.

The service is designed to support Filipinos in moments when connectivity cannot wait—whether for emergencies, work requirements, or staying in touch with loved ones.

Built around real-life digital needs

“This is about understanding the real, everyday moments our customers go through,” said Eric Tanbauco, Vice President and Head of Globe Consumer Mobile Business. “By making access to load and promos more flexible, we’re helping remove the friction that can interrupt important connections.”

The initiative reflects Globe’s broader push to improve accessible and always-available mobile services in the Philippines, especially as digital dependence continues to grow.
