It’s the time of the year again where we, the Filipino people, will practice our privilege to choose the most qualified leaders of our country.
In this post, we will share with you as much information about the upcoming 2016 Elections, specially on how to find your voting precinct.
Keep this in your browser’s bookmark, or share this post on your social media and tag your friends and your family members so they are also informed on how to do things before voting. We don’t like your votes to be invalid. You vote will bring one of the most powerful people in the palace and he or she will reign for six (6) years.
Let’s get started.
No Bio No Boto
First thing first. Are you a registered voter? Did you have your biometrics taken in any Comelec offices or centers? If your answer is no, you loose your chance to vote.
You can not vote if you did not undergo the biometric program implemented by Comelec.
Your biometrics is the procedure of getting three important information about you — fingerprint, picture, and signature.

Where to find voting precinct for 2016 elections
It is very important to find, check, and double-check your voting precinct. Remember, you don’t want hassle during the election day. You want to know what exact precinct you should go to, so that no time is wasted, and your mind is clear when you cast your vote.
So, as early as today, find your voting precinct.
Precinct finder form
Here’s how the precinct finder form look like. You will find this in the Comelec website.
In the precinct finder form, you have to input important information. You have to comply with all the required fields to fill up. For you to find out your voting precinct, you need to input your full name in this order:
Full Name
First Name
Middle Name
Last Name
Your date of birth in this order:
Month
Date
Year
And finally, for the Comelec website to determine that you are not a spammer, you need to enter the special characters in the CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) field.
Finally, you hit “Search” button.
If your name is in the database of the Comelec, you search will have return this screen.

Now, if you are an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), this is the link where you should find your voting precinct. In the OFW Precinct Finder page, you will also find link to the following documents:

- Certified List of Voters (per-country listing of Overseas Voters)
