MANILA, Philippines — Motorists in the Philippines will soon have wider access to premium engine oils and vehicle maintenance services after Gulf Oil Philippines formally partnered with the Autohub Group in an agreement launched February 23, 2026 in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The collaboration aims to make internationally developed automotive lubricants more accessible through Autohub’s service network, catering to car owners, motorcycle riders, and fleet users seeking preventive maintenance and engine protection.

Bringing global lubricants to local service centers

Gulf Oil Philippines, part of the global Gulf Oil International network founded in 1901, supplies automotive and industrial lubricants used in passenger vehicles, motorcycles, and commercial transport. Through the partnership, its products will now be available across Autohub’s dealership and service ecosystem.

According to Gulf Oil Philippines General Manager Michael Alfred Francisco, the partnership bridges global engineering with everyday vehicle servicing.

“Through Autohub, our global expertise reaches Filipino motorists directly where they maintain their vehicles,” he said during the launch event.

Autohub Group, operating in the Philippine automotive market for more than 27 years, manages dealerships and service facilities for multiple car and motorcycle brands.

President and CEO Willy Tee Ten said the collaboration strengthens preventive maintenance offerings for customers.

“Our goal has always been to take care of every vehicle as if it were our own. With Gulf, motorists gain reliable maintenance solutions,” he said.

Products available for cars and motorcycles

The partnership introduces a range of lubricants designed for modern engines:

For passenger cars

  • Gulf Formula Elite — formulated for high-performance engines

  • Gulf Ultrasynth GDI — designed for modern and fuel-injected vehicles

For motorcycles

  • Gulf Syntrac — for 4-stroke performance motorcycles

  • PowerTrac Scooter — designed for automatic scooters

These products will also support servicing under Autohub’s Next Hub Auto Care facilities.

Meeting growing demand for vehicle maintenance

Industry players say demand for reliable automotive maintenance continues to grow as traffic congestion, ride-hailing services, and delivery fleets increase vehicle usage nationwide. Modern engines also require specialized lubricants to maintain performance and fuel efficiency.

The companies said the partnership combines international lubricant technology with local servicing infrastructure to improve maintenance access for everyday drivers.
