Globe’s GoGIVE turns everyday online activity into support for social causes

Globe Prepaid’s GoGIVE program empowers young Filipinos to support social and environmental advocacies through their everyday online and mobile data use.

Scrolling through social media, watching videos, or playing mobile games might seem like routine digital habits—but for Globe Prepaid users, these activities can now contribute to real-world change.

Through GoGIVE, Globe’s initiative launched in March 2025, users earn “hearts” every time they use mobile data for any online activity. These hearts are then converted into support for selected social and environmental advocacies, allowing subscribers to make a difference simply by staying connected.

“Many young Filipinos want to help create change, but they’re looking for ways that fit naturally into their lifestyle,” said Givielle Florida, Head of Globe Prepaid. “GoGIVE lets them do just that—it’s an easy, everyday way to give back using the technology they already love.”

Since its rollout, GoGIVE has generated over 2.7 billion hearts from more than 37,000 participants, reflecting the growing enthusiasm among young Filipinos to engage in purposeful digital actions.

The program currently supports several partner organizations, including:

  • Project PEARLS, which expands digital literacy for underserved women

  • World Vision Philippines, which provides aid to children in need

  • Philippine Eagle Foundation, focused on forest conservation

  • PGH Medical Foundation, Inc., which supports medical training and research

  • The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), which advocates for animal welfare

With PAWS having achieved its initial goals, GoGIVE is shifting attention to other key partners to expand their reach and impact.

Globe said the initiative is part of its broader sustainability and social responsibility efforts, under the message “Go Forward Together.”

To participate, Globe Prepaid users can access GoGIVE through the GlobeOne app, choose an advocacy, and start earning hearts through regular online use.
