Centurt City Mall and marketing solutions company Clear Channels, have partnered to open the first digital play place in the country. Here, kids not only get to marvel at various digitally generated environments but also participate in and interact with them.
“Future Park is a pure sensory experience, a futuristi take on the activity of play. We’ve engaged some of the most creative artists from the world over to help us introduce a spectacular way to play, Varick Ong, President and General Manager of Clear Channels.
For a limited engagement of 2 months starting December 1, 2015 to January 31, 2016, Future Park will give a lot of Filipino kids their first chance to be immersed in a dazzling exhibit of games and installations powered by cutting-edge technology. The gallery is located at the 4th level of Century City Mall along Kalayaan Avenue Century City in Makati.
There are 5 entertainment games inside Future Park. They are all interactive with advance technology using lights and sensors that makes you really amazed even how these games were invented.
HEADRUSH
First attraction is the Headrush. It’s a 3D game where you would need to wear 3D glasses.
The games motive is to race to the finish by dodging some structures. There would be in some point you would need to dock, jump, move from side to side in order not to be hit. This is a race against time so the first one to reach the finish line wins.
ROOM RACERS
Here’s a tip for you, using solid objects placed on top of the the white surface, you can trap and you stop cars when you place this obstacle where the car’s direction is. This is where it gets crazy as the projected image of the car totally stops. You can capture the car with any solid object, like a shovel and your car will be trapped unless it is removed. It is mind-boggling as it is only light going down. The white flat surface also is nothing but white canvass on wood.
The Room Racers will actually blow your mind. There is a projector hanging on top of the room and projects downward on a white surface. There are 4 cars and 4 wireless game controllers. Each one’s aim is to reach to Top 20 or whatever it is set. The cars move like as if it was presently there and even has a headlight. Trick is, you need to shoot your opponent as to where your headlight beams direction is.
GRAVITY BALLS
The gravity balls are motion action games. Colored balls in different sizes and colors fall from above and can be catched and throwned usin the projection on the wall.
SOCIAL FLOOR
The social floor allows interaction between humans. Different colors, sizes and objects of light surround people when they enter into the lighted ring.
SKETCH CITY
For kids who love to draw and color, the Sketch City is the right game for you. Once you have shaded the colors in your pad, the image with your name will be posted on the big wall.
