Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach first official press conference

After more than a month after winning the crown as Miss Universe 2015, Miss Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach goes home for the first time and about 500 people exclusively invited to her first ever official press conference in the Philippines, she walks down the red carpet and waves to her fans and to the members of the media.

She starts with her impromptu speech by narrating her experience in Miss Universe as it is her longest dream ever since when she was a small child. Pia also narrated that for the first time, we have a filipino designed gown worn in the Miss Universe beauty pageant.

“After the Miss Universe pageant, for the first time, i was so proud to be a filipina seeing the Philippine Flag in every corner,” says Pia.

With her onstage was Miss Paula Shugart from the Miss Universe beauty pageant and Mrs. Stella Marquez-Araneta. You feel the importance of their presence as the event was heavily secured with policemen and bodyguards and personal aide. There were also people from the international press, from the TV network, leading newspaper and online media.

Pia Wurtzbach was so composed, calm and relaxed as she talks to the press and entertains and answers the questions politely. She also said that she will submit to herself for an HIV AIDS test to show the masses how easy it takes for you to be screened. When asked about the bases, she says that there is no problem having them here in the Philippines.

Pia discloses how hard her schedule is and how it wasn’t easy for her to squeeze in going home but she looks forward with the parade tomorrow and see her filipina followers and patrons.

Pia will have to go back soon to New York and live there for a year until the end of her term as she needs to fulfill a lot of duties that she will be doing in the next few months.
