MDS Call Solutions Inc. ties up with Globe Business for Cloud Customer Service

MDS Call Solutions, Inc. (MDSCSI) takes its voice and digital services up a notch with Globe Telecom. MDSCSI collaborated with Globe Telecom’s enterprise arm, Globe Business, to support its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud migration and SMS Application Programming Interface (API) integration.

“This year of recovery involves technologies that propel our success further. With the help of Globe Business, we’re able to take back the opportunities the pandemic took. Multiple lockdowns made it difficult to manage our on-premise servers. Our infrastructure needed to be replaced, with our equipment requiring round-the-clock upkeep and maintenance—amid IT teams operating at full capacity. If it weren’t for Globe Telecom’s assistance, we would’ve had many lost business opportunities, as it was becoming clear that our existing servers were not enough to help our company scale with the demand.” shared by MDSCSI Managing Director Patricia Calope.

MDSCSI, a BPO that handles customer orders for one of its biggest clients, Golden Arches Development Corporation or also known McDonald’s Philippines. With flexible and responsive service delivery at its core, the BPO company acquired SMS credits from Globe Telecom to remain in consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their orders. By migrating to AWS Virtual Private Cloud, MDSCSI was able to directly and securely connect its order fulfillment system to McDelivery’s digital app and website.

Ms Patricia Calope further explained how her company now experiences the many advantages of becoming cloud-powered, “With Globe Telecom and Amazon Web Services (AWS), we’re ready to address spikes in demand. Our IT teams can now focus on more important matters – initiatives that make our business even more innovative. We no longer need to worry about costs to maintain servers, since we pay for only the resources we use. The best part is, we can scale as big as we want because the Cloud knows no limits.”

“Considered one of the key enablers for present economic growth, the Cloud continues to soar high as businesses in the Philippines unlock its potential,” mentioned Senior Vice President for Globe Business Peter Maquera and Cascadeo CEO. “Working with companies such as MDSCSI allows us to merge innovation with service, which is what every technology ought to be. It’s only a matter of time until the Philippines becomes a cloud-enabled economy. We’re proud that Globe Telecom is spearheading that.”

Globe Telecom who is a longtime Cloud pioneer and one of the largest users in the country, continues to invest heavily in cloud solutions for its enterprise customers. Aside from its partnership with Amazon Web Services, the telecommunications company acquired its professional and managed services arm, Cascadeo, during the latter part of 2020 to provide Globe Telecom clients with cloud managed services and expertise in cloud-based products.
