Last February 5, Globe held its 5th Edition of the Wonderful World of Globe at the Green Sun in Makati. Opening the event was no less than Globe President and CEO Mr Ernest Cu.
Mr. Cu also shared the highlights of 2014 where they had a full Network modernization costing $700 Million and took 18 months to deploy LTE to the mobile phones. This year, their biggest project will be the LTE deployment for wireless to the home to deliver new high-speed services with a reliable and high-speed network. This is vital to achieve the performance needed on what was going to be announced that night.
2014 paved way to the tremendous increase of smart phones in the country and how vendors were dropping the prices that fuelled the use of data and smart phones.
Mr Ernest Cu announced that Globe closed another banner year for 2014 as best in year reaching P99 Billion. Another milestone for Globe Telecom having their record high. Their target for 2015 is to make Globe a P100 Billion Peso company.

What’s it going to be? There’s already the unlimited data with Spotify, unlimited call and text, and a lot more.
So i guess we have to wait and see how Globe will deliver video to the mobile and what will happen next that will get us HOOQ’d to Globe.
