Cebu and Davao promote responsible plastic waste disposal

Residents from Cebu and Davao Cities can now responsibly dispose of their plastic waste through the SM Cares and Plastic Credit Exchange’s (PCX) Plastic Waste Collection Program located in SM City Cebu and SM City Davao. Ten SM Malls now serve as collection points for almost all types of plastic and Styrofoam waste. The program aims to divert plastic waste from landfills and bodies of water by collecting them straight from households for co-processing, upcycling, or recycling.
