The Binibining Pilipinas 2015 Beauty Pageant will have a fashion show at the Araneta Center tomorrow night, Thursday, February 26, 2015 which will start at 8 o’clock in the evening.
The annual Binibining Pilipinas Beauty Pageant is a project of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI), a non-stock, non-profit organization founded by its chair, Stella Márquez Araneta. The pageant, BPCI’s primary instrument as it pursues its mission of spreading peace and love across the nation, is a fund-raising activity for projects that would benefit orphans, indigent families and other less fortunate members of Philippine society. Apart from producing the country’s best beauties as representatives for various international competitions, BPCI has been a key partner in nation-building for over four decades, providing skills training, educational workshops, mission work, and other relevant services for the marginalized sectors of the community.
Winners of the celebrated beauty titles serve as official Philippine representatives to the two most renowned international pageants — Miss Universe and Miss International. They will be joining Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1969; Margie Moran, Miss Universe 1973; Aurora Pijuan, Miss International 1970; Melanie Marquez, Miss International 1979; Miriam Quiambao, Miss Universe 1st Runner-Up 1999; Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss International 2005; and Venus Raj, Miss Universe 4th Runner-Up 2010 in an impressive roster of beauty queens that the illustrious pageant has produced.
