Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup Finals on October 4-6, 2019

As the Philippines continues to grow into a viable gaming and eSport market, Taiwan’s ICT industry further strengthens its support for local eSport athletes and enthusiasts by introducing its most advanced technologies and powerful devices to the country.

Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup Finals on October 4-6, 2019 at the SM City North EDSA, The Block Atrium in Quezon City will be a culminating event for egamers and fans alike. Guests and visitors will be able to experience the thrill of eSport action from both the battle arena as well as the sidelines. The event will showcase a lineup of Taiwan’s best gaming brands and products, alongside an exhilarating showdown between the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and League of Legends (LoL) teams.

Organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) partners Asus Republic of Gamers, Aorus, AVerMedia, In-Win, Kingmax, Transcend, XPG, Team Group, Zadak, G. Skill and Zyxel, this three-day grand event will feature some of Taiwan’s top PC gaming devices and accessories.

Gaming enthusiasts and visitors will get the opportunity to see up, close and experience first-hand the latest top-caliber gaming laptops from Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG), the official gaming PC provider of the 2019 Taiwan Excellence eSport Cup, including ROG Strix Scar III G531, ROG Strix G G731GV, Asus TUF Gaming FX505DV, and ROG Zephyrus M.

Check out ROG Zephyrus S, the world’s lightest and thinnest gaming laptop, and ROG Mothership GZ700, a reimagined portable Windows 10 powerhouse with an innovative stand-up design that enhances cooling for its factory-overclocked GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and 9th Gen Intel. Core i9 eight-core CPU.

Spectators can visualize how a gaming setup in their own home would look through a display of unique builds by Aorus, using top-of-the-line Gigabyte Z390 Aorus WaterForce Xtreme, Gigabyte B360 Aorus Gaming 3 and Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra motherboards, combined with Aorus memory cards, video cards, monitors, and peripherals.

AVerMedia has also prepared something for streamers, podcasters and vloggers. The brand’s very own plug-and-play AM310 USB microphone, the Live Streamer Cam 313, records in 1080p resolution and Live Gamer ULTRA (LGU) and brings next-gen 4K capture and pass-throughs at high refresh rates of up to 240Hz on a Full HD signal, will be on display at their booth.

Meanwhile, InWin will showcase its gaming PC cases in various colors, sizes and shapes; the most popular being the WINBOT Limited Edition Transparent Spherical case, which gives a 360-degree system display. Kingmax Semiconductor, Transcend and Team Group will also flex their line of memory cards and external portable SSDs, and Zyxel will introduce its tri-band Wi-Fi system.

Selections of peripherals such as gaming keyboards, mice, headsets, and RGB lighting systems from XPG, Zadak, and G. Skill will also be demonstrated by on-ground product experts.

Beyond the booths, guests and visitors will be treated to games and activities where they can have a chance to win prizes and giveaways. Lucky guests can participate in Shopping List, Guess Whose Logo, and Scavenger List games. Entertainment will be provided by UPeepz Dance Crew during the opening ceremony on October 4, as well as cosplayers and live music by pop-rock band GraceNote, and celebrity appearances by Myrtle Sarrosa and Ashley Gosiengfiao.

During the CS:GO tournament, the winning team will also represent the Philippines in an upcoming international competition in Taiwan, which will be the culmination of a series of Taiwan Excellence eSport Cups held in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and India.
