Gateway Gallery presents the fourth installment of the #KulturaSerye webinars on October 24, 2 pm, via its Facebook page. The October 2 #KulturaSerye is entitled Philippine History: Beyond the Classroom and Textbook and will be delivered by Mr. Ian Christopher Alfonso.
In this webinar, Mr. Alfonso will emphasize how history can be taught beyond the classroom and will present the various avenues by which Philippine history can be taught effectively. Learning Philippine history should go beyond schooling and must transform for the purposes of civic duty—and this aspiration begins in the classroom.

Teachers need extensions via various platforms to further enhance their mastery of Philippine history beyond textbooks and teacher’s manuals. Moreso, the need to expose our students to such, in order to further appreciate our history, make it more relevant and dearer to them and inspire them through the learnings and challenges from the examples of the past.
