Online media is becoming a trend and the online community is filled with different people such as bloggers, youtubers, influencers. We have been present in today’s events in product launches, press briefs, media junkets, in the tech and lifestyle events, foodie such as resto openings, and even travel like hotel reviews.

But what equipment do bloggers need in their day to day tasks? Here’s my list of items from Shopee that are helpful for my blogging :
No. 1 A sturdy and spacious bag to keep all your input devices such as laptop and a tablet. The foam padding for the straps are essential to carry the load with ease. There should also be thick cushion to protect the mobile devices such as laptop and tablet. Lots of pockets will also be convenient to separate items for easy pull-out of items. It is also good if the backpack is theftproof.
No. 2 Every blogger needs at least 2 to 3 mobile smartphones. One to take pictures and another one to take videos. Any brand of phone will be helpful but it all depends on the budget that is for that device. Mobile smartphone brands have engaged bloggers to review their gadgets and in the same time promote the best features like the camera which is now the most important part of the phone.
No. 3 An action cam helps to record videos for harsh environments like rain and water sports events. You will need a high storage SD card. If you can afford, best to have mutliple SD cards so you won’t have to worry running out of storage when you are in an event.
No. 4 Smartphones especially android have SD card expansion slot for memory and storage. This stores all multimedia such as pictures and videos. Choosing the right card will help you save the work faster. I would highly recommend class 10 as minimum. There will be less or no buffering from the camera device to the storage device. Using a lower class SD card will take time to render. Thus, causing delay in storage and you might miss some photos and videos.
No. 5 A powerful and reliable powerbank is very important especially for people on the go. The bigger the mah, the more recharges it can give you. Normally, i would travel with at least 2 powerbanks not less than 10,000mah so it can give me 4 full recharging of 1 device. The downside is that if you don’t have a powerful charger, it will take a longer take for your powerbank to fully charge. So in this case, use 2 and don’t drain them all!
No. 6 If there will be a 220v outlet, then it would be the right time and place for you to charge your mobile devices and also your powerbanks. There are multiple port fast chargers. 2.1A or higher will guarantee to do fast charges. You will be lucky if you travel and the hotel that you go to has a bedside USB charger built-in near the bed. Some of the hotels in Cebu that i have gone to and the high-end hotels here in Manila have multimedia hubs that provide charging ports.
No. 7 Wireless keyboard eases the burden of typing direct when using a phone or a tablet. This makes the blogger post articles and pictures faster. There are bluetooth keyboards that have AAA batteries but i would recommend a bluetooth rechargeable it will be more convenient without carrying any extra batteries.
No. 8 There are donglees for wireless keyboard and mouse into 1, but i would recommend to have this separately. The moment you lose the 2 in 1, both devices will be useless. In this case, you can use the keyboard and mouse only depending on the situation.
No. 9 USB hub will help you connect all your USB wireless devices such as keyboard and mouse to your laptop and it will also charge your other devices such as the portable smartphones, tablets, powerbanks and selfie and action cams.
No. 10 Music is essential as it fills the air. All bluetooth devices also act as wireless mics that will let you answer calls and even do conferencing with other people in the room. Just be sensitive not to turn up the volume to loud or else everyone else will be hearing your conversation.
